MON (Monad) is now on PDAX!

What is Monad?

Think of Ethereum’s smart‑contract universe, then hit the afterburners. That’s Monad.

It’s an EVM‑compatible Layer‑1 built to handle massive scale – parallel execution, sub‑second finality, and liquidity flows moving like lightning. Monad introduces parallel and asynchronous execution, offering up to 10,000 transactions per second, with block times around 400 milliseconds and finality under 1 second.

Before the Monad mainnet’s launch, Monad secured substantial funding and rallied a community aligned with its vision for the next phase of Web3 scalability. Monad is designed to support high-throughput use cases like DeFi, gaming, and other Web3 applications that require speed and scalability. Because it supports full EVM compatibility, developers can bring existing Ethereum smart contracts and dApps to Monad without rewriting their code. As of writing, dApps like Uniswap (trading), LeverUp (leverage trading), Morpho (lend & borrow), and many more are available on the Monad app hub.

Tokenomics

Monad’s native token, MON, comes with a hefty total supply of 100 billion tokens. At launch, the MON tokens are distributed across several strategic buckets. Around 7.5% is allocated for a public sale on November 17, while 3.3% is reserved for an airdrop on November 24 (Today) so free MON for the early birds. Meanwhile, 38.5% goes to ecosystem development, followed by the team (27%) and investors (19.7%), proving that everyone gets a slice of the speed-layer pie.

MON powers staking, governance, transaction fees, and even infrastructure participation – basically, everything you need to keep the whole machine humming at sub-millisecond speeds. And now that the mainnet has been launched, about 10.8 billion MON (or 10.8% of the total supply) is unlocked and in circulation, setting the stage for real-time trading, governance, and more.
