Solana, Hyperliquid and Cronos Pump While Bitcoin and Ethereum Ease Up (Decrypt)

Altcoin season signs are re-emerging, with Solana, Hyperliquid, and Cronos rallying as Bitcoin and Ethereum cooled off, as reported by Decrypt. As Bitcoin and Ethereum paused after recent gains, altcoins started to shine, with Solana jumping over 16%, Hyperliquid gaining more than 14%, and Cronos (CRO) reportedly soaring over 120% in the past week. Analysts say this could be an early sign of altcoin season, though how far it runs depends on market risk appetite.

Bitcoin Price ‘Too Low’ as Volatility Drops and Institutional Demand Grows (Decrypt)

Bitcoin’s price remains relatively low – even as volatility has fallen this year – making it more appealing to institutional investors, according to JP Morgan analysts. They reportedly estimate the “fair” value for BTC should be around $126,000, and suggest it could reach that by the end of the year if demand continues to rise.

Philippine lawmaker to propose putting government budget on blockchain (Cointelegraph)

Philippine Senator Bam Aquino plans to file a bill to put the country's entire national budget on a blockchain so every peso spent can be tracked by the public in real time, as reported by Cointelegraph.

Though no bill has yet been filed, the proposal would build on the Department of Budget and Management’s existing blockchain pilot, which already posts key budget documents like SAROs and NCAs on-chain for transparency. As noted by local blockchain firm BayaniChain, this isn’t a cure-all for corruption, but it would provide a secure, unchangeable ledger of government spending.
