Secure your tickets for 'Ang Huling El Bimbo' with Mintoo

In a first-of-its-kind move for the Philippine theater industry, "Ang Huling El Bimbo: The Musical" will be selling digital collectible tickets on Mintoo for its upcoming shows this May 2023 at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre. 

Using new tech for a classic oldie, theatergoers and OPM fans can experience a convenient way of purchasing tickets at the best rates compared to traditional ticketing outlets. Meanwhile, the digital collectible also doubles as a personal digital souvenir of the live musical experience. 

Digital collectibles or non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are unique blockchain-based tokens that can validate ownership and authenticity, making them ideal not just as collectible items, but for various real-world uses such as tickets. 

Available on Mintoo on PDAX, each Ang Huling El Bimbo digital collectible is good for two (2) passes to the show, which will generate a QR code to be presented upon arrival at the theater.

To purchase your digital collectible tickets, you will need to access Mintoo on the PDAX mobile app or go to https://mintoo.pdax.ph/. You will need to set up a PDAX account to be able to access Mintoo. 

If you already have an account, simply follow these steps:

1. Log in to your PDAX account.
2. Tap on “Collectibles” from the home screen. You will then be redirected to Mintoo.
3. Carefully read the Terms and Conditions for Mintoo and click or tap “I Agree”.
4. Create your unique username for Mintoo.
5. Once your account is set up, you can now view the NFTs available for purchase.  
6. Look for the “Ang Huling El Bimbo” collection. Make sure to have enough PHPT balance in your account to be able to make the purchase. 

Once you have made your purchase, your tickets will then be stored in your Mintoo account.

To use your digital collectible tickets, simply do the following:

1. Check the email which will be sent to you by hello@mintoo.ph for your seating details.
2. On the day of the show, open the digital collectible on Mintoo and tap "Claim Utility” to generate the QR code.
3. Present your QR code to the lobby staff on the Mintoo lane to get your physical tickets and gain entry to the show.
