Bitcoin’s price dropped by about 4%, slipping below $80,000, after the U.S. increased trade pressure on China. The White House clarified that certain tariffs on Chinese goods would effectively rise to 145%, raising concerns about a potential trade conflict and causing tech stocks to fall.

Crypto executives say rising global trade tensions – like tariff threats – are actually speeding up institutional adoption of crypto, as reported by Cointelegraph. They see crypto as a more flexible, global alternative during times of economic stress.

Scammers Use Cracked TradingView Software to Steal Crypto (BitPinas)

Cybersecurity experts are warning users against downloading cracked versions of TradingView, a widely used charting platform, after reports emerged that pirated copies available from unofficial sources contain malware.
